What this host does
Customers upload lists of email addresses they already hold, and we check which of those addresses still
exist. To do that this host opens an SMTP session to the domain's mail server, issues
RCPT TO: for the address, and closes the connection.
No message is ever sent. We never issue DATA, and no message content is
ever transmitted. This host does not send marketing mail, newsletters or bulk mail of any kind.

Controls on outbound connections
- One session at a time to any single destination mail server, with a minimum gap between them.
- If a server rejects a run of consecutive addresses, we stop contacting it automatically for an hour.
- If a server declines our connections, we treat that as a signal to back off rather than retry.
- A permanent do-not-contact list, applied before any connection or DNS lookup.
